Shall we talk about sleep?
Let’s talk about sleep. We all know that sleep and health go hand-in-hand. Good sleep often offers better mental health. Good sleep helps your body heal. A good night’s rest can make dealing with a difficult day just a little easier.
How well do you sleep?
Me? I tend to sleep a little longer than most. Assuming I can feel tired enough to fall asleep to begin with.
I think my body would naturally like a 25 to 26-hour day. When I go to bed and when I get up tend to cycle across the day. I prefer getting up early, but I like going to bed late. Only one of those can win.
What are your best tips for getting good sleep?
The only thing that I do that reliably works is forcing myself to stop working and relax with a movie or some such thing. When I do that, it feels like the day is winding down. Then I feel less resistant about going to bed.
I am told that simply laying down and resting – even without sleep – can be beneficial.
Do you struggle with sleep?
I have no trouble getting to sleep – well, usually I don’t, exceptions apply. I know others find it takes them a long time to fall asleep.
I struggle with keeping my sleep at the same time each day.
