Friends help with sticker swaps, community chest rewards, and those little bursts of competition that make you check the app “just one more time.” If you’re chasing rewards during the Monopoly Go Partners Event, having a decent friend list can make the whole thing feel less random and a lot more useful.
Start from the friends menu
To add someone, open Monopoly GO on your phone or tablet and let the main board load first. Don’t rush it, because the social buttons usually appear once the board is ready. Look down at the bottom-right corner and tap the Friends icon. That opens the Friends and Family area, which is where the game keeps most of its social tools. From there, move to the Add Friends tab. It’s the bit you’ll use when you want to connect with a real friend instead of just filling your list with random players.Use the friend code the right way
The cleanest way to add a specific person is through a Friend Code. Your own code will be shown on the Add Friends screen, and it normally starts with MGO followed by letters and numbers. Tap the copy button beside it, then send it wherever your friends actually read messages: text, Discord, email, Facebook, or a group chat. It’s a small thing, but copying the code is safer than typing it out by hand. One wrong character and your friend won’t find you.MethodBest UseWhat to Watch
Share your codeWhen friends need to add youSend the full MGO code
Search their codeWhen you’re adding them firstCheck every letter and number
Use chatsFor sticker trades and eventsAvoid posting codes in places you don’t trustSearching for someone else
If your friend has already sent their code, stay on the Add Friends tab and look for the magnifying glass near your own Friend Code. Tap it, and a Find Friends box should pop up. Type the full code into the field, including the MGO part at the start. Then hit the green Search button. If the code is correct, the game will pull up that player’s profile and let you send a friend request. If nothing shows up, don’t panic. Ask them to resend the code and compare it slowly. Why a bigger list helps
You’ll notice the benefits pretty quickly. More friends means more chances to trade spare stickers, open community chest rewards, and stay active during limited events. It also makes the game feel more alive. Someone lands on your board, someone helps with a set, someone asks for a sticker you’ve got three copies of. That back-and-forth is part of the fun, and it can save you a fair bit of waiting when an album is nearly done.Keep your connections useful
A good friend list isn’t just about adding everyone you see. Keep players who trade fairly, respond during events, and actually play. If you’re preparing for the Monopoly Go Partners Event for sale pages and reward planning, steady in-game friends can make progress feel smoother without turning the game into a chore. At U4GM, Monopoly GO feels better when your crew’s in it. Add friends with MGO codes, trade stickers, hit Community Chest, and keep events moving without the guesswork. See what’s hot here: u4gm then jump back in, invite your mates, and play smarter today.
